• About The Role

  • We are excited to offer two HR industrial placements, starting in June 2027.

    What will you be doing?

Only by recruiting and retaining the best talent will we achieve our business ambitions in the highly competitive and fast-moving UK automotive industry. You will support our employees to develop and grow to achieve their personal and professional ambitions.

We have two roles in this stream and you will be asked for your preference if invited to assessment centre:

People Operations: Working as the first point of contact for the business, you will be responding to general HR queries and will be responsible for administering the employee lifecycle from starting to leaving.

Talent, Development and Communications: In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for Talent, Development and Internal Communications queries, providing proactive administration and project support across the T&D and IC teams. You will be working across a range of systems to ensure training records and sessions are kept up to date, along with active promotion on our Communication channels.

    What's in it for you?

As an undergraduate on one of our placements, you'll receive a £23,500 salary, 27 days' holiday – plus bank holidays – have access to our car schemes, pension scheme, employee well-being support, an on-site restaurant and shopping discounts.

    What do you need?

To be successful in this role you'll have strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise a varied workload.

With a passion for exceptional customer service, you'll be proactive, positive and delivery focused. You’ll be able to communicate effectively within the People Team and to business stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

Our placement is open to any university student who is eligible to work full-time in the UK for twelve months from June 2027. You should be on a sandwich degree which offers a one-year industrial placement.

We believe all employees should have a good work/life balance and wouldn't want you to spend a large amount of time commuting, so we require our placement students to be based within a reasonable distance from our Milton Keynes head office.

    What's the assessment process?

Once you have hit the apply button, you will be asked to complete numerical assessment and situational judgement assessments. If you successfully complete these, we will invite you to an online video interview so that we have a chance to get to know a little more about you.

Our final step in the journey would be for you to attend a face-to-face assessment centre, where you will take part in a range of activities based on real life tasks. You will also have a chance to meet some of our managers and current placement students to find out more about the scheme.

This process is designed to help us both work out if a placement here is the right step for you. Successful candidates will be offered a place soon after the assessment centre.

Meet some of the team

Georgia, People Executive

I joined the undergraduate scheme in the People team in 2021, and I was fortunate to be offered a part-time contract during my final year of study. Now I’ve moved onto the graduate scheme as a People Executive, rotating around the different Centres of Excellence in our People Team, supporting everything from Engagement and Inclusivity to Reward and Talent Attraction.

Jamie, Direct Sales Operations and Performance Executive

I originally started as an undergraduate on the Audi product planning and supply team in 2021. This helped me develop skills such as public speaking. It was very daunting to me, but with some mentoring, I eventually spoke to 300 students at a school, which was a massive personal achievement. My aspiration following the graduate scheme is to specialise in a certain area and own it as an expert, years down the line. With new models and technologies constantly coming, it is really exciting to be a part of driving the business in the right direction.
